When the Joy Covering is Taken Away.

This happens so much. The joy of the Lord, it can be moving so strongly in a place but then before you know it man pulls the joy covering off. Its not hard to see when the joy is being controlled or Gods joy is not allowed to move at all. When you see it and then see it pulled away the difference is noticeable in everyone. Instead of joy a heaviness of religion starts to take over and that’s never a good thing no matter where it happens.

When the joy of the Lord is able to move what most of man sees is uncontrolled services and maybe laughter or dancing before God but what God sees is His presence being allowed to move however He wants. People praising Him without holding back, letting themselves being completely taken over by the Lord and His presence.                                                                                                                                   2 Samuel 6:4 “And David danced before the Lord with all his might.”  Psalm 149:3  Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!

Man wants things structured, serious, controlled but God wants joy and the Holy Spirit allowed to flow freely. When He is allowed to move…what a difference it can make in the meetings and in peoples life’s.

My prayer is for every church, every meeting, every where people are meeting to worship Him that the joy of the Lord is allowed to move. Because when it is, the Lord will show up in ways that will have man lost for words.

Psalms 47:1Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!”

Psalms 5:11-12But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you. For you bless the righteous, O LORD; you cover him with favor as with a shield.”

Psalm 71:23 My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.
