Ephesians 3:19-20 Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. God can do anything, you know – far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
2 Corinthians 5:1-5 For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
Psalm 86:11 Train me, God, to walk straight; then I’ll follow your true path. Put me together, one heart and mind; then, undivided, I’ll worship in joyful fear.
Revelation 7:15 Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will shelter them with His presence.
1 Peter 3:13-18 If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively: suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all—was put to death and then made alive—to bring us to God.
Acts 4:12 there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Are you going through a storm right now? Maybe you lost someone you loved. Maybe you are wondering where the next meal will come from. Maybe your heart is hurting from something someone said.
Let Him calm the storm your going through. If He can calm a raging sea I know He can calm whatever you are going through.
Mark 4: He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
He is reaching out to you. Will you reach out to Him?
When you draw near to Him you will find His awesome grace, His mercy and His forgiveness but the best of all is……. you will find and feel His love.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
